Privacy policy
Mobile Specs collects as little as it can. This page describes what the site actually does today.
What we store in your browser
- Theme preference — whether you chose light or dark mode, kept in local storage so the site doesn’t flash white on your next visit.
- Comparison list — the phones you have added to the compare tray, kept in local storage so the selection survives a refresh.
Neither is sent to us, neither identifies you, and clearing your browser data removes both.
If you submit a review
We store the name you supply, your rating and your review text. If you provide an email address it is used only to contact you about that review, is never published, and is never sold or shared. Reviews are moderated before they appear.
If you email us
We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your message, and no longer.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent — as every web server does. These are used for security and debugging, and are not combined with anything else to build a profile of you.
Third parties
Pages may embed video or audio players from services such as YouTube, Vimeo or Spotify when an article includes one. Those embeds are subject to the provider’s own privacy policy. We do not run advertising networks or cross-site trackers.
Your rights
Write to us at privacy@mobilesspecs.com to ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the change will be described here rather than silently applied.
